You should read this thread accordingly, but complete:

Thanks!!

All papers require referencing and or a bibliography.
an example of a 'computer program' would be

Originator or Author. (year of publication - in brackets). Game or program title - in italics or underlined. [Medium of item - in square brackets]. Series information and any dates or numeric information - if necessary. Place of Publication: Publisher
(the above is a Harvard referencing example)

however i wish to add the website as a source, i find many websites DO NOT credit the author/ authors

information to add a website to a bibliography is

Author – Surname, initials or name of website if no author is available. (Year - in brackets). Title of website – in italics or underlined. Any numbers if website is part of a series – if needed. [Online –in square brackets]. Available from - URL. [Accessed: followed by date in square brackets]

people are not receiving credit for there work :-(

Well - that's going to be hard as our webpage includes e.g. WiKi and is based on a Content Management system, where a lot people provided useful content in terms of documents itself. So you have literally hundreds of documents / authors... what do you do then?

I'd suggest you take a single author (Yiannis Mandravellos, alias "mandrav" as the "father" of Code::Blocks) and that's it.
