"make install" permissions are wrong
« on: May 06, 2010, 08:15:27 am »
openSUSE 11.2 x86_64

Weird. Was working fine when I last built a few months ago. Now when I try to install (svn) all the sudden I have permissions problems. Build goes fine, but...

ALL installed files under /usr/local/share get permissions of root root drwx------. So when I try to run codeblocks it can't run because it tries to read all those files as my user who has no read permission. Seems like it should install files as rwxr--r--. Well in fact it used to do that.

I can run it as root and it works. What could have changed? Some openSUSE patch that came in over the last few month I suspect.

somebody help!
