messages/management window problem
« on: October 22, 2005, 11:00:27 pm »
When i move the management or messages window, thigns are okay.  But when i just click on the frame to move it, or start dragging it, but i don't actually move it to another place, i lose the mouse input, which means - i can still move my mouse, but nothing responds to mouse button input. Not CB or any other application!

The only way to resolve the problem then is to close CB with the keyboard. Then thigns are back to normal again.

Hopefully this is a better explanation of the problem than i did once before.

hmm, strange. what could it be? Window Manager or something?

Do you have a quick tip of where to look in the code for the release of the mouse input after a drag/drop?
Although, if no-one else has the problem, it doesn't have to be the code of course. :?

Well, you could look in src/src/wxDockit but I don't think that something could be wrong there. More people would 've noticed...

true, it's probably not the code. i was already getting worried from getting no response. :)

ok. i'll try on another system with a totally different setup than my two systems here.
Hopefully it will work there, so i can try to find some more info about this.

Somehow my first idea was my WM. I use OpenBox, i don't know what others use, though.
And i even don't know *if* it could have anything to do with it or not.
