XLW and Code::Blocks
« on: October 25, 2009, 12:24:11 am »
Hello.

I am complete noob so apologies in advance for potentialy stupid question.
I am trying to use XLW for Code::blocks, and found the following video on the net:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UmkSLesszqQ

When I repeat those steps, I get the following report in build log:

-------------- Build: Debug in Template ---------------

Running target pre-build steps
make -f RunInterfaceGenerator.mak
make: Nothing to be done for `all'.
Linking dynamic library: bin\Debug\Template.xll
mingw32-g++.exe: C:\Program Files\XLW\xlw-4.0.0f0\xlw\lib\libxlw-gcc-s-gd-4_0_0f0.a: No such file or directory
Process terminated with status 1 (0 minutes, 0 seconds)
0 errors, 0 warnings

I suppose I am missing a file and screwed up an install? Can somebody pls point me in the right direction?

Thx - J

Find a site that support the library and post you question there.

Posting the Full Compiler Log could help an expert see the issue.
http://wiki.codeblocks.org/index.php?title=FAQ#Q:_How_do_I_troubleshoot_an_compiler_problem.3F

This site is ONLY for support of Code::Blocks.

Note: some compilers has trouble with spaces so I would suggest trying it in path without spaces or special characters.

Your question has been addressed here http://www.markjoshi.com/books/phpBB3/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=399.
The best place to ask question concerning XLW is on the xlw-users mailing list http://sourceforge.net/mailarchive/forum.php?forum_name=xlw-users
