- Added focus follows mouse option for wxGTK
- Fixed GTK RightMouse scrolling (avoiding Context Menu conflicts)
- Added slider allowing user to set GTK RightMouse scrolling/context menu sensitivity (millisecs waited for mouse movement before Skip()ing for Context Menu - openwatcom support : add to compiler/linker the -q option so the verbose banner is no longer shown
- applied [ Patch #1750 ] Window layout
- applied [ Patch #1752 ] Fix for Bug #9668
Regressions/Confirmed/Annoying/Common bugs:
- toolbar-images-not-changing-state (is a wx problem/Win XP problem)
- menu items with icon not correctly aligned (since wx263)
-
Little bug (and workaround): a popup window kept asking which target to use, debug or release, every time my program was run from CB. I stopped it by changing the selected target (then restoring it to what it was).

confirmed, I am creating a bug report for this, since there seem to be several errors happening.
@Thomas : will assign it to you, something tells me you created a bunch of the graphical stuff; and I am not a graphical artist at all :-( ??

killerbot, is it possible to provide SuSE x86_64 RPM too?

killerbot, is it possible to provide SuSE x86_64 RPM too?
everything is possible. But our Suse builder works on 32 bit, I have Suse 64bit, but I never made an rpm. Will have to learn that someday ;-)
For the moment I would suggest build from svn, it's very easy.

when will be codeblocks for Fedora Core rpm package?

I am having a problem with the Nightly Build.
When I try to launch the codeblocks.exe file, I get the following error message:
Cannot find resources...
Code::Blocks was configured to be installed in 'C:\CodeBlocks/share/codeblocks'.
Please use the command-line switch '--prefix' or set the CODEBLOCKS_DATA_DIR environment variable to point where Code::Blocks is installed,
or try re-installing the application...
Then when I press "OK" or I close the dialog, I get
(In title bar) Could not save config...
(in dialog) Warning
Of course C:\CodeBlocks/share/codeblocks is not a valid windows path, as windows uses backslashes, but just to check I copied the nightly build into C:\CodeBlocks\share\codeblocks and tried running both copies again, but I get the same error.
I have tried it with this build and the previous (the Dec 22, I believe) build, and with and without the DLLs
- wxmsw26u_gcc_cb.dll
- wxmsw26_gcc_cb.dll, and
- mingwm10.dll
to no avail.
No one else seems to be having this same problem, which I find disturbing.
Any help is Greatly appreciated. Thanks,
-Max

I take it you tried to compile C::B yourself?
Try running the update.bat file, (Remember to put the dll in the devel directory), then copy the files in output into your C::B dir.
Joseph.
-
I did not try to compile it myself, I don't really know how.
Where would I find the update.bat file?

The update.bat is for people compiling Code::Blocks from SVN, you are NOT doing that correct?
Did you download and extract? wxmsw26u_gcc_cb_wx2.6.3p2.7z (Needed for Windows 2000 and XP)
What OS are you using? Windows XP? 98?
Tim S
PS: I will download the most recent nightly for windows and verify it works.
I am downloading http://download.berlios.de/codeblocks/CB_20061224_rev3421_win32.7z
right now seems to be working, I am on dial up so it will be a few minutes.
-
I am NOT compiling from source.
Yes, I downloaded that DLL. When I don't have it I get a different error message. I also tried all the other DLLs on the thread, without success.
I am using Windows XP Pro.

The way I do the nightly build is in a folder called "nightly" I delete the last nightly build except for
these files.
wxmsw26u_gcc_cb.dll
mingwm10.dll
and optionally I keep the old 7z files in case I wish to go back to an old nightly.
Note: You must delete the share folder or you can get weird errors!
Note: If an configuration error is suspected you should rename or delete the old config files.
Brings up this folder for me "C:\Documents and Settings\Administrator\Application Data"
I normally will rename the folder codeblocks to codeblocks-old
Tim S
Note: Finished the new download and it worked OK.
-
Where is your "nightly" folder?
I have both of those files in my build directory.
My share folder (C:\CodeBlocks\share) is completely empty, and deleting it does not help
There is no codeblocks folder in Application Data

The "nightly" folder is the folder I created for testing nightly builds into it I place the DLLs
wxmsw26u_gcc_cb.dll
mingwm10.dll
and also the file CB_20061224_rev3421_win32.7z
then I right click on the file CB_20061224_rev3421_win32.7z and choose "7-Zip" and "Extract Here"
This creates the files
wxscintilla.dll
exchndl.dll
codeblocks.exe
codeblocks.dll
cb_console_runner.exe
share
CodeBlocks
.... Many folders and zips under "share\CodeBlocks"

Well what do you know.
Man, am i embarrassed. I was using an old-ish version of IZ-Arc, which was not extracting anything in the subfolders. I Downloaded and installed 7-Zip, and now it works flawlessly.
Thanks for your help,

I am new in Code::Blocks, and I think I like it :)
I am running on Ubuntu Edgy.
1. project build options -> directories -> Add -> when I click on '...' to list folders, the application crashes
2. the save all (files, projects, workspace) would be good, also with keyboard shortcut

when will be codeblocks for Fedora Core rpm package?
Occasionally there are nightlies here (http://developer.berlios.de/project/showfiles.php?group_id=5358), and Code::Blocks is also in Fedora Extras (http://fedoraproject.org/extras/development/i386/repodata/repoview/codeblocks-0-1.0-0.18.20061207svn3357.fc7.html) now.

I've found 'mister bug' I guess :D
I'm using build from 18 dec, and when I'll open code::blocks (without start page), and enter into the plugins options, and trying to disable the code completion plugin, I've got a crash. But when I'll open just empty file, and then do the same, nothing happend (all works fine). (Windows XP SP2).

Hi,
I've just installed OpenSUSE 10.2 and was trying 24th December Nightly build. Strangely I found that the SVN no is ZERO, from Splash screen, Start page and about box. I'm attaching screenshots below.
Code::Blocks works fine. But it shows SVN 0. Is it a bug or I installed it wrongly?? I am very new to Linux and want to learn it.
Regards,
Biplab
