Post by: misiek on April 28, 2005, 05:53:47 pm
Many times CB page is inaccessible - am I the only one, who's got this problem?

I want to add that www.codeblocks.org cannot be resolved at all by my local bind, thus I have to use provider's one in addition to my local
My bind says "all possible A RR's are lame".
However this may be error of my bind, as it is relatively old (it was build more than two years ago)

Yes. Blame it on our host. I asked Yiannis to move to berlios.de (actually he's the one who came up with the idea, but during our first downtime after he left for vacations, i mailed him about it). Let's see what happens when he comes back...

Wow, that sounds like an excellent idea :)

Note that BerliOS has been having problems of late, too. Their main server seems to have smoked up, so do not be disappointed if there are a few minor dropouts, they are running only on a backup system atm.
In practice, I have only experienced two downtimes of about 15 minutes alltogether.

thats Life...
As long as you have a backup, everything is ok...
If you don't, you're in Trouble (Had this once, lost complete Database ...)
The Provider deleted the account a day earlier than beeing sheduled  :x
