Title: "Symbols Browser" not available

I am using C:B nightly 11927 (build NOV 17, 2019), and found that the "Symbols Browser" disappeared.

Then I searched in the forum, and know that it can be disabled in "Settings > Editor > Code Completion > Symbols Browser".
I checked and found that the option "Disable symbols browser" is gray, unable to turn on/off.

It seems that Symbols browser is not available in this copy. How can I make it available?

It has been discussed at least here (http://forums.codeblocks.org/index.php/topic,23580.msg160657.html#msg160657).
This plugin is completely disabled, I hope temporarilly, because it causes problems with wxWidgets 3. Nobody, until now, seems to have found a satisfying solution.
