Title: C::B default layout
Post by: sethjackson on January 12, 2006, 05:59:04 pm
Hi I was wondering why the default layout doesn't include the Open files list like RC2?

Could this maybe be re-added?

Something like this?

Yes I know I can make a new layout, but I don't see why this was taken away from the default layout......

I think this is a good idea for two reasons:

1) There is no Window menu that lists the open windows.
2) There is no dropdown on the editor bar to show the open windows (it would be a dropdown menu from a small button next to the left/right arrows on the FlatNotebook tab bar)

Edit: I just took your word for it (see mandrav's post below) :lol:

The default layout does contain the open files list. If you rename your default.conf, you will see that it will appear. Probably you saved your layout without it...

IIRC it didn't when this system was introduced though, so maybe he just hasn't deleted his default layout since then?
