Title: Using Code::Blocks with FPGA from Altera
Post by: metalous on January 03, 2011, 04:56:15 pm
Hi all,

Have you tried to use C::B to program an FPGA's Altera (Cyclone III or Stratix VI ..) ?
Actually, Altera recommends Eclipse IDE (NIOS II IDE).

Thanks in advance.

doesn't Altera have its own IDE? Xilinx should be more doable with Code::Blocks as from what I heard its easier to drive the compiler from command line. But I have never done it.
