Title: Nothing in wizard selection window
Post by: Aszarsha on February 04, 2009, 03:02:33 am
Hi all.
Sorry for my poor english.

I just installed 8.02, but when I tried to create a new project nothing appeared in the wizard selection window. There's no icons.
Same thing for Build Targets, Files, Custom and User Templates (it seem correct for those two one, though :))
Changing the install mode for shared config doesn't change anything.

I've tried with the nighly, but it's exactly the same.

In the two cases, the files are present (.template, .png, .cbp and corresponding default .h and .cpp) in the share/CodeBlocks/templates folder.

Do you have any ideas what I should do avoid this ? :)

PS: I am under Windows XP.

Please verify the plugin Scripted wizard is installed and enabled.

Plugins -> Manage Plugins
Check that the plugin Scripted wizard is in the list and that it is enabled.

That done it, thank you very much ! :)

I may have used Code::Blocks long time ago and deactivated this plugin because the description is all but meaningfull is the plugin manager.
But shouldn't the windows installer reset this kind of configuration (as an option maybe) ? It could be a good idea to add for people... like me. :P

Hi all.

I have same problem.
I have installed CodeBlocks. made a full install, but when i run it, there is no templates.

I tried uninstalling, reinstalling etc, 100's of times.

Still no help.

Scripted wizard is installed and enabled!

Its driving me crazy. What should i do?

It just doesnt find the templates, they all exists, but it doesnt find them.

XP Pro, SP2.

EDIT: I installed it to windows 7 beta and it worked fine there.
Perhaps the problem is in XP Pro. Its maybe almost dead on my pc. I must reinstall it.
Also i have some services disabled. may this is the problem, don't know. but i will try with fresh install of XP later.
