Title: D Language support?!
Post by: 3-S-E on April 03, 2009, 03:10:17 pm
Hello,

I'm a D language programmer and I wonder if code::blocks will support this C++-alike language officially in the next stable-release, or if I can expect improved support in one of the next nightly-builds?
There is the "D shared software system" (short: DSSS) available for D-Programmers, witch makes life easier, but needs some focus for using it in an IDE.

Thanks for your effort with code::blocks!!! :-D

What exactly do you expect ?

D is supported by C::B, there exist even a wizard, that creates a simple "hello world"-program (just tested it with gdc under debian).

I'm not a D-programmer, so I can not see if anything is missing, or fundamentally wrong.

Suggestions, bug-reports and patches are always welcome.

DMD 1.030 is supposed to work. DMD 1.055 might also work.
