Title: Any web developers / volunteers?
Post by: mandrav on May 27, 2005, 10:38:50 pm
We 're considering changing the main site's look to something less-postnuke.
I 've installed Drupal (http://drupal.org) in a testing domain so we can build a test site there.
Anyone who knows drupal (or wants to learn it) volunteering to help?
Who wants to be the C::B webmaster?

If you 're interested, take a look at the test site (http://test.codeblocks.org/) and then reply here ;)

Yiannis.

You 're more than welcome to help :)
Please register, so we don't have to talk to "anonymous" ;)
When you think you 're ready to start "cooking", contact me to set you up with the necessary permissions to work directly on the test site.

I would suggest Mambo (or at the very least integrate the user settings and the forum settings) ..

Anyways I've read a few articles about drupal.. I'll install it on my server and take a look around.  If I feel comfortable developing with drupal I'll setup a test site.. send a link and let you take a look.. then we can go from there.

Well, after looking at the Drupal website (and modules avaliable) it appears that Drupal is a very good CMS.  I think it has everything I loved about Mambo and more.  So I'm installing Drupal on my server and I will start playing around with it.
