Title: "no install" C::B
Post by: FALCO on October 20, 2006, 03:55:29 pm
Hi,
Is there a way to make Code::Blocks not create ANY registry keys nor system files (files anywhere else than in it's own directory)? At this time it's probably a week I'm non-stop searching a portable (no-install) IDE for C++ and Java compiler. C::B looks so cool... I wish I could use it...
I saw some threads here about portability and I know the following: RC - bad, nightly - dunno (some say that it's making registry stuff too).

thank you,
Peter

Using a recent version: Yes, by choosing "No, leave everything as it is and don't ask me again" when you run Code::Blocks for the first time.

Using RC2: No.
