Hello,
I've created an up-to-date (svn 3693) portable edition (http://www.esnips.com/web/wxLearner-C++) for windows users. It's a big download (a 90MB 7z file), because it contains many precompiled libs, that can be used out-of-the-box with a preconfigured set of global variables (http://wiki.codeblocks.org/index.php?title=Global_compiler_variables), so it's especially a starting-point for newbies. It uses TDragon's build of gcc-4.1.2 (http://www.tdragon.net/gcc412.html) and wxWidgets-2.8.0.
More infos are at the download site (http://www.esnips.com/web/wxLearner-C++).
Edit:
I don't know if it works with vista (I don't have it, so I couldn't test it), but I think the chances are good, because the MinGW folder is located in the CodeBlocks folder, so the access to MinGW should be the same as the acess to Code::Blocks itself.

Create installer.

Hello,
Thanks for this portable version, it is exactly what i was looking for!
By the way CB is now more stable than a many 1.0 version of others IDE.
Please, CB developers, think of labelling a nightly as 1.0, please...
Thanks and See you
