Title: more Key mapping
Post by: kilgore on April 22, 2009, 03:18:47 am
All,

First, if I had a magic wand (or a lot more time), I would make a vim plugin.  As someone else said, "I'm addicted to vim".
That said, I would like to be able to remap very simple navigation commands to keyboard shortcuts.  For example, Ctrl-j to move down a line, Ctrl-k to move up a line, Ctrl-F to move down a page, etc.

From the keyboard shortcuts, I don't see anything with that level of control.  Did I just miss it, or is it not possible?  Is there another way?
I would love to be able to use this, but if I have to move to the arrow keys to do these things, then it's a non-starter.

Any and all help greatly appreciated!

Ctrl + down arrow, Ctrl + up arrow
