Title: How to deaactivate some search/highlight feature
Post by: Salsa on July 25, 2008, 04:18:34 pm
   Hi,

I accidentally activated a feture in code::blocks which I don't know how to turn off. I was using ctrl-s to save a file and typed other keys by mistake, so now, when I select/mark a piece of code (like double-clicking on a word) then all ocurrences of that marked code get a red rectangle around it. I didn't find anything on the menus to turn it off, tried closing code:blocks and restarting, and then left it that way. But now it's just too annoying.

Anyone knows which feature is this and how do I turn it off?

Ps: I tried searching the forums, but without the feature's name I'm lost.

Try to uncheck "Settings -> Editor... -> General settings -> Highlight occurences".

I like the "Occurrences highlighting" feature but really wonder if it should be turned on by default as it is in SVN 5162.
