Post by: TheLastTargaryen on May 20, 2020, 09:53:13 pm
Hey!I have just installed the new CodeBlocks update (20.03) and I keep getting this error :"Environment Error-can't find compiler executable in your search path (GNU GCC compiler)".The previous update worked fine for me.All I did is unninstall the old app and installed the new one (binary release- codeblocks-20.03-setup.exe) Could you help me fix this error please?

There are a lot forum posts about this...
I think you can fix this by Settings->Compiler->Click on the left arrow under the "Reset defaults" button until you see "Toolchain executables"->click on "Toolchain executables"->Auto detect

Yeah, this worked but I had to install CodeBlocks Windows 64 bit (including compiler) version.I downloaded the one without the compiler, my bad. Thanks btw :)
