[Feature Request] Maximize workspace on file tab doubleclick
« on: November 15, 2008, 01:37:17 pm »
Hi,

another feature request. It would be nice to be able to maximize the workspace (hide logs and manager) when you double click the file tab you are just editing (like in eclipse) and restore the old workspace layout when you double click again.

Greetings
Martin

As workaround you can save a new layout.
  • Close everything you don't want to appear,
  • Click "View -> Layouts -> Save current",
  • Chose a new name (e.g. "Minimal")
  • Assign keybord shortcuts to the default and minimal layout ("Settings -> Editor -> Keyborad shortcuts"), I use Ctrl+1 and Ctrl+2
  • Now you can easily switch between both layouts

That's not exactly what you want, but much better than to close and reopen everything manually.
