run code::blocks on XP as non-admin user
« on: March 18, 2008, 11:41:59 pm »
Hello,
In Win XP, I installed code::blocks with a "computer administrator" account, and now I do not see it in the start menu for my "limited account".

At home in the past , I did everything in Win XP with the admin account, so I have no experience in how to deal with this. Can I use code::blocks on XP as non-admin user?

Just navigate to the directory where you installed codeblocks and make a shortcut to the exe file.  I've used it with no problems on a limited account that I set up for my nephew on my home XP system.
