Sorry - we broke pen/brush/font setters on wxMSW and wxMac in this
release, so please delay downloading 2.8.2 until we re-announce it.
Apologies!

Julian

Note: They have changed the 2.8 Branch version to 2.8.3, they hope to release in a matter of days.

Tim,
do you know if some of the issues we had are fixed in here :
- toolbar icons (showing correct icon and graying out)
- menu entries with icon allignement
- ... ?

Cheers,
Lieven

It was in CVS head, I am compiling C::B linked against 2.8.2 right now. Will know if it works in about 30 minutes or less.

Note: The 2.6 CVS Branch Had it fixed yesterday or the day before.

Note: The main toolbar Icons still were NOT disabling right on 2.6 CVS Branch or CVS Head. I am starting to think it might be a problem in how C::B is using wxWidgets ( DLL Build ). I have not been able to duplicate the issue using static builds in small test cases.

Note: menu entries with icon alignment was fixed in both 2.6 CVS Branch and CVS Head.

Note: The "R" is visible in both 2.6 CVS Branch and CVS Head for the replace Icon.

To anyone who may be curious: wxWidgets 2.8.2 also builds successfully out-of-the-box when using my GCC 4.1.2 build.

do you know if some of the issues we had are fixed in here :
- toolbar icons (showing correct icon and graying out)
- menu entries with icon allignement
- ... ?
Quote from: changes-2.8.2.txt
- Corrected drawing of bitmaps for disabled menu items.
The changelog answers this one; I'll let Tim answer the rest.

So far, it looks like our patched 2.6.3p2cb3 DLL, no better no worse.
I have to reboot to test the large icons size, my desktop icons went away again. XP Sigh!
