New binds for keybinder plugin
« on: November 26, 2006, 07:56:15 pm »
Some might consider these minor, but I would really like to see these implemented.

  • Ability to change the default codecompletion keys (enter & tab, they don't show up in the list). At least enter can be really annoying, when you sometimes have to press enter two times just to get the linefeed you wanted. Should't "complete code" shortcut do that anyway? All it does is present me with the pop-up of available symbols.
  • New edit-commands: Enter (linefeed) and backspace (well, delete one char). Some might consider these useless, but I've gotten quite used to using "shortcuts" for them after using bash (ctrl+m, ctrl+h). Backspace at least tends to stress the pinky finger quite a lot in the long run. (this starts to sound more like a whine than feature request)
