Are there install instructions?
« on: November 24, 2006, 09:52:55 am »
I just downloaded and installed a .deb package of the nov 23rd nightly build for ubuntu and I put the 2 dlls in /usr/local/bin (well, at first I figured that was probably just for windows users but when I had problems I figured I'd give it a try).

I have 2 problems:

1) When I start the program I'm missing all image and help files.

Specifically, the error messages say:
Cannot load resources from /usr/local/share/codeblocks/resources.zip#zip:main_menu.xrc
Unable to open requested HTML document: /usr/local/share/codeblocks/start_here.zip#zip:start_here.html

Then the IDE loads, tips are not available.

When I create a new project it says:
XRC resource 'dlgNewFromTemplate' (class 'wxDialog') not found!

Then it just shuts down when I click ok.

Did I forget to install some package? I followed the instructions available here:
http://forums.codeblocks.org/index.php?topic=3232.0

Thanks

There's a bug these last few days due to some refactoring. Please be patient, it will be fixed.
