I gave a try to wxsmith capabilities, and it seems me a nice and promising thing.
One thing that I don't like too much is the way controls are added to a form.
The only Rad I used for much time was the Borland's one. It is very comfortable building dialogs and forms, because you can add and position objects graphically. I know that 'spacers-sizers' method is much more portable, allowing to autoresize the dialogs in different environments, but to compose graphically a form with it is really a pain.
I'm thinking if it would possible to compose graphically the form 'a-la-borland', and then to have it generated with 'sizers-spacers' and so on automatically. Ok, maybe it wouldn't be optimized as doing it by hand, but much more confortable to build and, most important, modify forms and dialog layouts.
