Auto-hide messsage pane
« on: June 12, 2006, 11:43:34 am »
Hello,

I am recently using the Auto-hide functionality of C::B (rev2547) and it working fine so far :). Anyway, each time the message pan is opened (for any reason), its size is reset to its default value. Would be possible instead that the message pane keeps its previous size? The default size is a bit too small for me :) and changing it all the time....

Thank you very much.

Best wishes,
Michael

It has already been discussed here: http://forums.codeblocks.org/index.php?topic=3279.msg25873#msg25873

Hello,

Ok :). Thanks for pointing that out.

Best wishes,
Michael

The auto-hide feature is great, but as far as I can see, it will only leave the pane open on compilation errors/warnings. If the linker fails (due to missing libraries, for instance), then it will not stay open. This is a bit confusing, since everything looks OK at first sight, but no .exe is produced. To see the error, you have to manually activate the pane.
