Can't seem to Debug correctly
« on: March 02, 2006, 07:47:28 pm »
Hello,

When i try to debug, it doesn't seem to step into the programs!

I set that compiler option ....-g also.

I scoured the postings but don't see any with the same problem.

Thanks for any ideas!

VERSION: 1.0rc2

Debugging in RC2 is very unsophisticated.
For debugging to work really good, you have to use a more recent build (and gdb 6.3).

Ok thanks very much, tell me if i'm wrong, but i think i saw a reference to what you're talking about in a previous post?

If not, are there any step by step details that i can follow?

So if i don't hear back, i'll assume i can get it from a previous post!

Thanks very much!

Hello again,

>>When i try to get the latest build using this link:

The 01 March 2006 build is out.
  - Windows : http://download.berlios.de/codeblocks/CB_20060301_rev2102_win32.7z
  - Linux : not supported yet

>>I'm getting this text line:

Too many clients for /codeblocks/CB_20060301_rev2102_win32.7z

Can you tell me if i'm going after the right build for XP please and if so, is that "Too many clients" because there are too many people trying to download?

Thanks again!

correct file, indeed too many users (probably too many users doanloading from berlios, not just CodeBlocks downloads), although everyone should get Code::Blocks ;-)

oh oh oh, well maybe (in)correct file, the new nightly is available ;-)
