Code::Blocks doesn't start as expected
« on: August 07, 2020, 05:14:10 pm »
Whenever I open up C::B it's icon down in the taskbar looks like the program starts up and shuts down repeatedly (basically the icon blinks for a few seconds), in the end it does start up, still it bothers me a bit. I have already tried deleting and reinstalling C::B, nothing changed. Did anybody ever encounter this problem before? Do you have any idea why this might be happening? (The only change I've made to the IDE is that I changed the font to "Consolas")

Thank you in advance!

This is fixed in the nightlies, but was not fixed in the release because it was in another branch.

Don't worry about the blinking, each blink correspond to a job executed by the compiler plugin during the initialization and it is perfectly normal (but ugly).

I'm having the same issue and I've also already tried everything to fix it - nothing worked, obviously. Thus, thank you for clearing it up!
