codeblocks-v20.03-x86_64.AppImage
« on: July 18, 2020, 05:10:34 pm »
Since there is not, or i can't find, binaries for Ubuntu on the download page I have tried to use codeblocks-v20.03-x86_64.AppImage.
Problem is that it does not start, not what ever I have done.  Where it should be copied?  How should it be launched?

I have launched FreeCAD_0.18-16146-Linux-Conda_Py3Qt5_glibc2.12-x86_64.AppImage simply by activating it by filemanager.

What other possibilitys I have given that I can't build complicated aplivations.

Ubuntu 20.04 LTS 64-bit, Linux 5.4.0-40-generic x86_64

These are questions best answered by the people providing the AppImage. As far as I know it is not done by C::B developers.

p.s. Ubuntu people seems to be shipping a 20.03 build for Ubuntu 20.04, but it was broken the last time I've tried it. You could try to report this to them.

"You missed step 2? "
Thanks for hint.
No, I didnt miss step2.

But step 1 was not exactly same because filename was not exactly the same as on your picture.
So I try to find the same file which is known to work.
