ctrl-c / ctrl-v project etikette
« on: December 02, 2019, 12:09:14 pm »
hi code::blocks,
I was talking openGL-problems in that particular forum and made a quick ctrl/c, ctrl/v of three lines of original code from the code::blocks openGL-project to that forum. The code obviously helped the subscriber at hand .. likely not by another copy/paste, but to get a gist of what he had left out.
Would that be a break of proper net-etiket or copy-rights on my part? I believe that I mentioned the origin of the code.

All/most of the code in our repo is licensed under GPL3/LGPL3, so this kind of usage is fine, probably...
But if you need advise on law/license/copyright topics it is best to talk with a lawyer specialized in these topics. Here we're mostly programmers... :)
