SpellChecker: Thesaurus files not found
« on: February 10, 2019, 03:56:42 am »
I've recently installed Code::Blocks and I received this information on my first launch:
SpellChecker: Thesaurus files 'C:\Program Files (x86)\CodeBlocks/share/codeblocks\SpellChecker\th_en_US.idx' not found!

Will this affect the performance of the software? I'm afraid something is missing or corrupted during the installation. Any help is appreciated. Thanks.

No, it is not fatal, but probably the spellchecker plugin is not set correctly.

What does the plugin do? Is there a way to set it correctly?

Checks the spelling of words in comments and strings.
See Settings -> Editor -> SpellChecker for its settings.
