Code::Blocks not showing errors in build log
« on: October 21, 2016, 06:56:06 am »
I had newly installed Code::Blocks on Debian Desktop and I was attempting to compile a program. Compiler is GCC 4:6.1.1-1 if that makes a difference but I think this might be a Code::Blocks issue.

The issue is the build log is not showing. I know you can press F2 or  view > build log. The build log panel or window displays but it's not populated with error message. I get the red indicator on the line where the error is but there are no build messages in the log.

I usually can search Google for errors and find a valid code snippet within the first two pages. But I can't look up the error message without. Been using Code::Blocks for C++ for about three years now and I've never run into this problem.
