Hello,
I've had this problem with C::B for some time now : it freezes and doesn't respond for at least 45 seconds each time I start the program, load a project, compile a file for the first time (.o creation) or recompile everything. It does so even on the default "hello world" program !

I am on Windows 8.1 64bit. I have reinstalled C::B 16.01 multiple times, with or without mingw (I have thus installed the last TDM-GCC-64 separately, which runs fine if I use it directly from cmd) using only the installers so far, in vain. I have disabled every plugin except "Compiler", with no results. I have also delete my default.conf, without success.

Note that the project loading freeze only happens on certain projects, more precisely those I have managed to open before (the exact timespan for "before" is unknown to me, unfortunately), I guess it's a cache thing.

I hope I was clear enough and I thank you for your time and answers !
