I'm running Fedora 4.4.8-300.fc23.x86_64 and Codeblocks 16.01.svn.10837.fc25.86.64.

All of a sudden, Codeblocks won't run. If I click the icon, a white box opens for about 5 seconds, then closes. I check the process list it Codeblocks isn't there. I've tried reinstalling Codeblocks (from Jenslody repos) and the same thing happens. Is there an error log anywhere? Any ideas? It's been working up until about a week ago.

Just tried running it from command line and got this:

So you're using a package for fedora 25 on fedora 23, right? And expect it to work without problems?

Fedora 24 or 25 haven't been released yet. I haven't changed repositories, so why would I be downloading a version of Codeblocks two versions in the future?

Do you have rawhide repos enabled ?
If yes, disable them, remove codeblocks (the settings will not be touched) and reinstall it from f23 repos.

Thanks for the ideas, but I'm stumped. Here is my repo list, which hasn't changed since Fedora 23 came out, and my Codeblocks repos's haven't changed since I began using it, about two years ago! See anything suspicious?

Looks fine for me.
Nevertheless, you can remove the jenslody.de-repo, because Code::Blocks is now only on copr and the gnome-shell-extension-repo, because the extensions are in Fedora official repos now.

What does "dnf list coodeblocks*" say ?

I removed jenslody.de-repo as suggested. As you will see below, I'm seeing fc25 and some fc 23 versions of Codeblocks. It appears that the fc25 stuff is coming from jenslody, and the fc23 on the Fedora repos.

I added code-tags to your previous post, to enhance readability.
Please do this also (in the future). Code-tags use monospace fonts and this is much better to read if you have (e.g.) console output, besides the better distinction between normal text and code.

I'm seeing lots of reference to "rawhide" in here. I'm suspecting that is your alpha and beta repository, which may explain why I'm getting FC25 stuff. I will go in and add the language as suggested. It looks like the repo file for rawhide from my server.
It should be used with rawhide only.
There is also a repo-file for stable releases.

Remove codeblocks and the repo-file and readd the cop-repo with

Code

dnf copr enable jenslody/codeblocks

as root or via sudo.

Thanks Jens. I did as suggested, but I still got fc25 stuff. dnf shows I've got nothing to be removed involving codeblocks, however, take a look at this:

Even with nothing (codeblocks related) in my dnf.repos files except for the repo you provided, it STILL was finding fc25 stuff to download. So I removed ALL rawhide repos in my repolist which made it:

I was then able to install svn build ver 10850 (2016-05-05), which did run. However, I did lose all my settings. I had to manually add the debugging piece. But I was able to compile and run a test project.
