Just got a new Acer Chromebook 11 and wanted to know if Code Blocks was compatible with the new operating system?

Isn't this thing meant to run only web-apps?

If wxGTK development packages can be installed there is a chance you can build CB on it.
Note, I would verify you can get GCC on it first.
