Code::Blocks on Debian & Ubuntu, feedback required
« on: January 06, 2006, 07:54:29 pm »
Hello all,

Since I've got no news from Federico Mameri, who was supposed to work on the .deb packages, I've decided to start to move to submit this package for approval on Debian and Ubuntu using their respective submission process.

For those who don't know about that, I've built .deb packages for Ubuntu and Debian.

The Debian packages are available at: http://neutronic.mine.nu/unstable
The Ubuntu packages are available at: http://neutronic.mine.nu/ubuntu-breezy

I've got no report of problems with those packages, but I just want to make sure there is no functional defects before submitting them.

I have been using Code::Blocks on Ubuntu 5.10 for about a week now.  Installed the deb package for rc2.  Since then have downloaded from the svn repository and done my own builds twice.

I have found no issues wrt running on ubuntu or the deb package itself.  There are, of course, bugs in the main program independent of the platform.  I'm new here and am not familiar with how to check for bugs that are known vs. those I might find..
