Could I suggest a feature to add?
« on: May 20, 2013, 10:58:50 pm »
Hi everyone,
I would suggest to add a feature in Code::Blocks. It's quite simple but very useful.
Double-click on a tab label expand the area of code writing.
Just like in Eclipse. I think that the Log&Others panel on the bottom fills a great portion of the screen, and it's something that you does not use when you are writing code. So, the possibility to extend the "writable" area would be a great improvement.

Thanks for reading.

Have you tried it?
If it doesn't work, then have you tried to upgrade to the latest version and try again?

hint: It works perfectly, since 12.11 (or older but I'm not sure). If it doesn't report a bug, by specifying all the needed details.

OK maybe there was a problem with mine version. My latest upgrade to 12.11 was a bit messed up.
I reinstalled it and now everything works!
The only question is: it asks to save the perspective about every time I close the IDE, why so?

Check the tick at the bottom of this annoying dialog and it will go away.
