Is the new plugin announcement spam ?
« on: August 21, 2012, 08:27:12 pm »
Is the new plugin announcement spam if some features are not available for free ?
We have a new plugin but due this reason we are careful to announce it via this channel.
Would be it possible to making something similar to extensions.joomla.org for codeblocks plugins also ?

No. The licensing model allows for closed source plugins as long as you didn't modify the core. In the latter case these modifications would need to be provided.

Besides the forum we have a WiKi section concerning plugins, see here:
http://wiki.codeblocks.org/index.php?title=Plugins

Feel free to add/edit this section, the login should be the same as with the forums.

BTW, here in the forums you should post such an announcement in the plugin development section.
