visual c++ debugger.. again
« on: April 21, 2010, 09:42:31 am »
so, i found some threads about how to make it work..
1:
http://forums.codeblocks.org/index.php?topic=8454.0
i got to the point i get symbol not found error, and tried to set _NT_SYMBOL_PATH to the folder i installed the symbols to, but to no avail-
i still get the error..
downloaded and installed : "Windows XP with Service Pack 3 x86 retail symbols, all languages" - ('most customers want this', site said.)
(other option was : "Windows XP with Service Pack 3 x86 checked symbols, all languages"

in case there isn't a solution, can some one find the document that explains how to set vc++ as tool? ( i remember finding it, but cant find it again..)

any help?

edit: say i dont get it to work, what is a good debugger to replace it?
