Windows 7
« on: March 31, 2010, 01:36:12 pm »
I picked up from another thread that Code Blocks (I have 8.02) is not suitable for use with Windows 7.

I have just powered up my new computer and am keen to get to work on my project with it.  I had a search but am struggling with the sheer quantity of info to plough through.  It would save an awful lot of time if anyone knows of a suitable C compiler that I can use.
Thanks,

Code::Blocks is not a compiler, and it is perfectly suitable for Windows 7. It's what I use.

Download a recent nightly build, and a recent release of MinGW/GCC. Instructions can easily be found in the Code::Blocks wiki.
