It turns out that the patch posted in this thread:
http://forums.codeblocks.org/index.php/topic,11620.0.htmlis not a complete fix for Highlight Occurrences. Yes, it does eliminate the opacity of the highlighting that was occurring before the patch. However, when I use Search/Replace (ctrl-R), since every occurrence of the search term is highlighted with the same color, when the prompt "Replace this occurrence?" comes up it is not obvious which occurrence is about to be replaced. It would be better if the "current" occurrence were highlighted in a different color (or underlined, or flashing, etc.).
