how to config the compiler?
« on: June 17, 2009, 02:12:40 pm »
The "Global Compiler Setting" in My Code::Blocks was changed some days ago, the compiler, linker, debugger, resource compiler and maker are not correct now. So, who can tell me how to config them.  I want to say which file is the complier, linker, debugger, maker etc. I'd appreciate your help!

Hi,

select the menu "Settings->compiler and debugger"  and choose your compiler from the drop down list. Then select the tab "toolchain executables" and configure the tools. If search directories are configured then you will have to adapt them too.

thank you for your help. But my problem is not fixed.
I have manually changed "Toolchain Executables->Compiler's installation directory->Program files" myself , so the complier, linker, debugger and make program are not the original ones.  So , I wanna know the name of the files' names. Could you tell me ?

can't you just "reset defaults" for that compiler?

What do you think we are ?

You don't tell us anything about your setup, neither the compiler you use, nor the OS or the C::B version.

Use "Reset defaults" as dmoore told you.
And if that does not help, read your compilers manual.
